Events Safety Statement

Since its founding in 1974, Circle Sanctuary has held and sponsored thousands of safe and secure festivals, ceremonies, workshops, classes, rituals, and other events on Circle Sanctuary land in Wisconsin and other locations. For every one of these events, community-member, participant, and minister safety has been paramount. Every event was designed and implemented to ensure the highest level of safety possible at and during these activities.  Circle Sanctuary has never knowingly compromised its commitment to ensuring the highest level of safety for anyone attending or participating in any of its events. Circle Sanctuary will never compromise this ongoing commitment.

Our policy is:

Circle Sanctuary does not permit those listed on the United States Department of Justice National Sex Offender Registry to attend Circle Sanctuary events.

We look forward to working with our community and others to evolve our policies and practices, as we continue to create supportive and safe gatherings.
