Local Cemetery to Participate in National Wreath Laying Ceremony to Honor Veteranswreaths-across-america-2016.yule

BARNEVELD, Wisconsin — November 23, 2018 — Circle Cemetery at Circle Sanctuary Nature Preserve, near Barneveld, Wisconsin is proud to announce that, for the sixth year in a row, it will take part in Wreaths Across America.  On Saturday, December 15, National Wreaths Across America Day, remembrance wreaths will be placed at the grave markers of deceased veterans at more than 1,200 locations across the nation and overseas, including on Veterans Ridge at Circle Cemetery. A public interfaith remembrance ceremony will be held at Circle Cemetery to ensure that the individuals who served to protect the freedoms of our country are not, and never will be, forgotten. The wreaths are provided by Wreaths Across America (WAA), a nonprofit organization founded to continue and expand the annual wreath-laying ceremony at Arlington National Cemetery, and who works fulfill its mission to Remember, Honor and Teach. 

"Remembering, honoring, and teaching about veterans continues to be an important part of the work of Circle Sanctuary and our national cemetery" said Cemetery Director, Selena Fox. "We are glad to be part of the Wreaths Across America program again this year."
