Minerva, Blake and others in the Temple Room. Let's set our intentions for the day and for the Winter Solstice season. We will discuss the plans for the day and begin our celebration of WInter Solstice 2024. 10:30am Break - Resource shop will be open. 11:00am The Meaning of Yule with Kristol in the Temple Room Kristol is writing her 2nd book, this time about Yule. Let's listen to her regale us with information about the sources of our Yule celebrations. Let's learn about the meaning behind the Winter Solstice festival and some of our traditions. There will be Yule pictures available for coloring for anyone interested. 12:00pm Lunch. Please bring your own sack lunch. Please no peanut products due to severe airborne allergy. Shop the resource shop!1:00pm Winter Solstice Magic livestream workshop with Rev. Selena Fox Celebrate Winter Solstice Day! Explore & experience some invocations, chants, meditations, ritual workings, & reflections. Bring a candle to kindle, along with a symbol of the Sun. Also bring a journal or paper and pen for noting ideas and inspirations. 1:00PM Family Programming Make your own Yule Gnome named Elfie or Elf named Gnomey - in the Summer Kitchen Join the Community members from the Pagan Spirit Gathering's (PSG) Gnome Camp in creating your own Winter Solstice Sprite. You will be able to draw or paint your own little Fae to take along. All supplies are provided. Why use Elf on a Shelf when you can have a Gnome in your home!?! 2:00pm Break - Resource shop will be open. 2:15pm Yule Log Burning with Rev. Selena Fox Join us at the fire for the annual burning of the Yule Log! 3:00pm Rune/Sigil Seasonal Ornaments with Rev. Minerva, Blake, Jocelyn, Becky & Teresa in the Temple Room (open to all)
We will be making clove-studded orange ornaments. You can set a rune into the orange in order to set your intent for the coming year, to provide protection, or to memorialize an event. If you'd rather use the cloves to draw a sigil or other design, great. Take these home to scent your space as they dry and to remind you of your aims for 2025. 4:00pm Break 4:30pm Yule Ritual with Rev. Minerva, Blake, Becky & Teresa All Hail Wassail! We will share our good wishes for the season with a toast to set our intentions for the winter and for next year's 'harvest'.
